It has been a great experience and an honor in improving and maintaining Metboard since the change in ownership. There were many wonderful people in the Metboard community, and it has definitely been a pleasure meeting you all. Unfortunately, Metboard’s use has declined so much over the recent months that the site has been effectively an inactive site with the only exception of a handful of posts per month.

I would honestly rather burn for eternity than be gods puppet. Think about this though, if god created everything then what created him? God is not a logical starting point. Which means you now have 3 things. Which means that 3 exists. Now there is 4 aswell and so on into infinity. Of coarse this doesn’t just happen once. The nothing we started with is still nothing and therefore the whole process repeats infinite times. So you now have infinite infinities. Now you might ask how does having infinity create physical things? Well look at video game. The world within a game is created out of nothing but 0′s and 1′s. A one is the presence of electricity and a zero is it’s absence. Or this could be looked at somethings and nothings. But in any case particular combinations of somethings and nothings can create a worlds such such as the worlds in CS, Halo, GTA and any other game. Of coarse with infinity all combinations of something and nothing MUST exist. The result of this can be worlds far more complex than those in video games. Now of coarse the worlds in video games don’t exist until they are run through a computer processor. So reality needs something to process information as well. And that’s were the brain comes in. It takes pure information and converts it into the world you see in front of you. The human brain has a way of tricking reality into existence.
Now I know sainty is going to read that and go “OMFG no it was GOD!!!!!” but I decided to post this anyway as I want the opinion of those who aren’t deluded. I’m not saying that I’m am defiantly right just proposing and idea to get you guys thinking.

Over modding, power tripping, secret mod forums being alluded to, double standards with favourite members etc just made the place no fun anymore.

Metboard.Com was officially shut down right around my birthday, how..coincidental..
I still remember that day back in 2003 I installed the Invision board and gave life to Metboard.Com It indeed was a great ride, meeting so many metal-heads, and banning and deleting so many topics that had nothing to do with anything..HAH
In all seriousness, I am sorry to see Metboard go. We had a nice run and at one point, had over 200 users on at the same time back in 2003. The place was the 2nd biggest Metallica Forum in the world next to the official forum at its peak which is nothing to sneeze at. With social media becoming so big, forums went by the way side.

When I first started coming to metboard in the early 2000s it helped me to pass the time on night shift at the mental hospital where I worked for several years. I learned about a few bands I hadn’t heard of and tried to share what I could. Cheers to all of you and sorry but I’d still rather listen to Blaze era Maiden than Iced Earth!
